Tunbridge Wells
A family garden in Tunbridge Wells
Adjusting the levels in this Tunbridge Wells garden exposed a large amount of natural stone which was used to make most of the retaining walls. The serendipity in using what would otherwise have been a waste material was most welcome. The garden was divided into four spaces, a York stone terrace, a lawn for the children, a gravel garden for herbs and self-seeders and a garden office. The ‘football pitch’ will be reclaimed for planting once the children outgrow the space.
